Refund Policy
7-day money-back guarantee on every paid plan. Effective 14 May 2026.
1. The 7-day guarantee
Every paid Money Track plan (6 months, 12 months, 24 months) comes with a 7-day money-back guarantee. If Money Track isn't right for you, email us within 7 days of your payment and we'll refund the full amount — no questions asked.
2. How to request a refund
- Email support@themoneytrack.app within 7 days of payment.
- Include your account email and the Razorpay order ID or invoice number (from Settings → Billing → Payment history).
- A short reason is appreciated (so we improve) but not required.
- We'll confirm receipt within 24 working hours on working days.
3. Refund timeline
- Approval: within 2 working days of your request.
- Processing: we issue the refund to Razorpay within 7 working days.
- Bank settlement: typically 5–10 working days after that, depending on your bank / card / UPI provider. Razorpay handles the final credit to your account.
4. What gets refunded
- Full plan amount for refund requests within the 7-day window.
- GST charged is refunded along with the base amount. The original GST invoice is reversed by a credit note (issued automatically and emailed to you).
5. What is NOT refundable
- Refund requests beyond the 7-day window — but you can simply not renew at the next cycle (no auto-renewals).
- Bank or payment-gateway charges Razorpay may apply on the original transaction (these are minimal, often ₹0).
- Plans purchased fraudulently or through credential-stuffing attempts.
6. After a refund
- Your subscription is marked cancelled immediately.
- The app reverts to "locked" mode: you can still view and export your data, but adding / editing / deleting is paused.
- You can re-subscribe to any plan at any time — your data remains untouched.
- Free trial is a one-time benefit, so a refund does not restore a new trial.
7. Disputed charges
If you see a charge you don't recognise, email support@themoneytrack.app first — we can usually trace it (it might be a Google Pay alias of your card, etc.). Filing a chargeback without contacting us delays the resolution and may result in account suspension while the dispute is investigated.
